Florentine provides a Limited Warranty that applies to your purchase of Florentine jewellery and moissanite(s). The terms of the Limited Warranty include a warranty against defects in material and workmanship in the moissanite(s) (Limited Lifetime Warranty) and in the jewellery (12-month Limited Warranty) made by Florentine. The Limited Warranty is effective as of the date of purchase.
This Limited Warranty covers optical properties of the Florentine moissanite including fire and brilliance, and the physical integrity of the moissanite including chipping, breaking, scratching, and abrasions. It does not cover: (a) damage or defects as a result of abuse, misuse, loss, or theft of your moissanite(s); or (b) damage or defects related to abuse, misuse, loss, or theft of your jewellery piece.
All implied warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby disclaimed. The sole and exclusive remedy for any defect covered by this Limited Warranty is as follows:
For jewellery, during the first 12 months from the date of your purchase, and for moissanite(s), during your lifetime, Florentine will, at its option, repair the jewellery and/or the moissanite(s), or replace with jewellery and/or moissanite(s) of equal or greater quality, without charge to you. You will be responsible for any cost of shipment of your jewellery/gems to Florentine, and Florentine will not be responsible for any damage or loss during shipment.
This Limited Warranty applies to the sale of jewellery, and moissanite(s) that are 0.80ct Diamond Equivalent Weight (DEW) in size or larger. Your moissanite, if 0.80ct DEW or larger, has been laser engraved with information to aid in confirming that your gemstone is authentic Florentine moissanite. Each Florentine jewellery piece also comes with a certificate of authenticity. To enhance your ability to confirm the authenticity of your Florentine moissanite(s) and jewellery, Florentine recommends that you retain your purchase invoice and certificate(s) of authenticity.
Florentine does not endorse or approve any third-party alterations or treatments to any Florentine moissanite(s). Such processes may be temporary and could lessen the durability and value of the moissanite(s). Accordingly, any third-party alterations or treatments to your jewellery piece will void the Florentine Limited Warranty that accompanies each purchase.
Your Florentine jewellery and moissanites(s) are subject to the terms as set forth herein. In the unlikely event you have an issue or concern with your jewellery or moissanite(s), please contact Florentine with a copy of your purchase invoice and certificate of authenticity, and a customer service representative will direct you accordingly. In the event that there is a problem with your jewellery or you are in need of other services not covered above, your jewellery can be sent back to our office for evaluation. Once inspected, should charges apply, you will be notified prior to any work being done on your jewellery.
We offer a free one-time resizing for rings within 60 days from your date of purchase. Domestic and international customers will bear the cost of return shipping to us. We do not charge to ship the ring back to you.
During the resize process small amounts of metal will be added or removed to increase or decrease the size to adjust for the new size needed. As a result, your ring may be slightly thicker or thinner when completed. This is a minor difference, and may or may not be discernible to you. Your resized ring will be inspected by quality assurance to ensure that our high standards are met, and that your ring has been fitted to the size that you need.
Some rings cannot be resized. This may be due to a size restriction, falling outside of the recommended range, or due to the design style such as eternity bands. A fee will apply if your ring needs to be remanufactured. Upon receipt and inspection of your ring, you will be notified prior to any work being done to discuss the charge to replace your ring.
